Fortriss launched its new squash racquet string range at the Surrey Junior Closed squash tournament that took place at Surbiton Racket and Fitness Club on the weekend of 27-29 September 2019.
There were 10 age groups with 120 players who completed 216 separate matches. The standard was amazing and watch out for the names of the winners as I have no doubt some of them will be riding high in the England and World rankings in the years to come. Tournament Organiser, Claire Baker wrote on the Surrey Squash Web Site:
“We had great sponsors, FORTRISS, who came in on the Saturday and Sunday to provide prizes for all finalists. The winners received 200m reels of string, T-shirts, grips and discount vouchers and the runners up received a 110m reels of string and grips. Thank you to Mick Lowe and brother Graham, who managed to restring over 26 rackets during the course of the weekend”
The feedback from players and their parents on the string has all been extremely positive with many coaches now buying reels of string.
